Chester’s Restaurant, set in a beautiful location in Ashford, County Wicklow, offers a warm and inviting dining experience throughout the day. Our menu caters to every taste, starting with a hearty traditional Irish breakfast alongside lighter continental options. For lunch, guests can enjoy a selection of freshly prepared dishes including traditional toasted or plain sandwiches, homemade soup, and a delicious toasted crunchy falafel wrap for vegetarians. In the evening, our dinner menu features comforting classics such as beef and Guinness pie, traditional fish and chips, grilled steak, and both beef and chicken burgers, as well as flavourful Thai red curries. To finish, indulge in our tempting desserts, including sticky toffee pudding, apple pie, and creamy cheesecake. We are happy to cater for most food allergies—just ask a member of our friendly staff. • Our Restaurant Reservations: Please note we operate on a walk-in only basis and do not take any reservations. However, it is our policy not to turn anyone away no matter how large the party size. Come ahead and we will do our very best to accommodate everyone!

What a fabulous place, I only wish we could have extended our stay but unfortunately en route to Dublin and already booked.
We arrived early but we still received the warmest of welcomes.
Fantastic secure car park was also very welcome.
When we got to our room it was immediately obvious that the owners have spared no expense, we were in 102 and it had a huge sleigh bed that was incredibly comfortable.
All the furniture was top notch and had a very homely feel.
The bathroom too was fantastic, very powerful shower and again very high end finish.
As if that wasn’t enough to praise the evening meal was truly amazing, I had the beef roast and my wife had their homemade veggie burger.
It’s no wonder the pub and restaurant were absolutely chockablock, the quality and portions were off the scale!
Then the following morning topped it off, everything is so laid back, no formal time required for breakfast, and late checkout made for a very relaxing start to the day.
I don’t think I’ll need to eat for the rest of the day after my breakfast!
We will have absolutely no hesitation staying here again when we next pass through and will recommend it to everyone we know.

I eat here regularly on my visits to Ireland…it has never disappointed and deserves to be as busy as it is. They don’t take table bookings so it’s luck of the draw but the staff will always do their best to help seat guests. Food and drink is always very good in a good pub atmosphere with great service.I’ve never used the accommodation so can’t comment on that.
